i thought i had, everything under control - i couldn't have been more wrong.

why is it that im THAT much more inspired to write when im drunk? so thursday was the why so serious tour in san antonio with hey monday, a rocket to the moon, this providence and the cab. kevin ended up wanting to come so i waited until 530 to go pick him up, but then i forgot to print my ticket confirmation...which resulted in my dad calling me irresponsible and ultimately a bitch...and then losing my phone. after 45 minutes, i ended up taking my sisters phone, picking up kevin, grabbing coffee, and then heading to san antonio to the rock bottom tattoo bar. i had never been before and it was hot, sweaty, and small.

kevin was very...intimate i suppose, and touchy feel-y. i was uncomfortable with it, im really not sure why... i guess im afraid to see someone in an emotional sense after mitch. its different to be attracted to someone and to like someone and i guess i didnt expect it to be more than a ~casual thing with kevin. he has been nothing but a gentleman, and i really like him, i just have trust issues in the aftermath of birmingham. the car ride to and from san antonio was amazing though...he could sing along to almost everything i listened to, so major props to him :)

we missed hey monday, a rocket to the moon was pretty good...the last song they played had a wicked electro-breakdown that i totally grooved to. this providence was great like always...i danced my ass off despite the vox/sound failures and had a great time.

oh, side note. i love arthur. seriously...marry me babe :) fuck the atlantic, we should be together ;) you are the shit. thats right, i didnt just put it on .org...you made my fucking blog you are THAT cool to me. and i know you are reading this - love ya

then...yesterday was a day off from work and then tokyo police club/the whigs/the boxing lesson. the boxing lesson was really disappointing...they covered pink floyd and the cure...but not well in my honest opinion and it was kinda monotonous. i met some cool people, particularly austin and angel sitting off to the side....i wish i was able to meet up with them afterwards and party with them afterwards like we had talked about. emos was fucking packed though and we really stood no change of finding each other. halfway through the whigs set zoe finally showed up and i met some of her friends. colin was a bit...weird and out of it, but tokyo police club put on a f'in great show. zoe left a bit early, and i stayed to meet up with amanda from sire/WB, got some promo materials and i will be heading back to austin to hang up signs, hand out stickers, etc. tpc did a great encore and im definitely going to listen to more of their recorded stuff...their life performance was that good.

man, my hands are moving very lethargically trying to keep up with my brain.

i slept most of today, then work, which was boring.... and i had to go in early.... then party :) . ugh, ill have to update more later.

I am the same way. I want to write more when I am intoxicated. But when I get the pen or keyboard, I forget about what I want to write about haha
